Tour description
A private charter offers you a boat to yourselves – couples, families, friends or clubs.
Our small boat carries up to 10 people and our larger boat up to 12. Charter prices are for exclusive use of our boat with skipper and guide at a fixed price.

Tour details
You can charter our boats for your private use in two ways:
Call us. We’ll listen to what you’d like, make suggestions and build a tour for you. Depending on tides for landing at other harbours, we can vary start and finish times to fit your plans. We’ll check our boat availability for your preferred date and confirm a plan and price with you.
Example:
Many people would like a tour similar to one of our scheduled tour, like the Isle of May Landing during puffin season, but you’d like to vary the times and spend longer looking at other islands. Call us, and we can create an itinerary most suited to you.
Book all the places on board. Go to our tours, book all the seats on the boat. You are guaranteed that the boat will not be able to be booked by anyone else. This tour runs to our scheduled tour times and route. If some seats are already booked by another customer, on the date that you want, then you will not be able to use the whole boat on that date.
Example:
You have 8 people in your group, comprising 5 adults and 3 juniors. You’d like to sail on our scheduled Bass Rock tour, and you’d like the boat to yourselves. The BlueWild boat sailing to the Bass Rock carries a maximum of 10 passengers. Go online, choose your date and time, book the 5 adult and 3 junior places that you would like, then buy the remaining 2 places at the adult price – and you will have reserved the boat for that scheduled tour for your exclusive use.
Your charter includes..
All private charters include exclusive use of our boat, skipper, a specialist guide, all fuel and landing charges at designated harbours.
Food & Drink
You might like to bring your own food and drink on board, or take a picnic to an island, or visit local restaurants on return to shore. We leave food choices to you to avoid uncertainty in meeting individual dietary needs or preferences.

Private charter prices cover a range from £500 to £1300 a day ..
- c2.5 hours private charter by arrangement for up to 10 people : £550
- Isle of May Landing, peak puffin season, including harbour tour and other attractions, lasting c.7.5 hours, up to 12 passengers: £1300
